This lamp draws inspiration from the traditional Korean kite reel, the eollē, known for its rhythmic symmetry and tactile rotation. Interpreting this object into a lighting form, I translated the octagonal geometry into a base structure that appears in motion.

The central light source glows softly through radial ribs, casting shadows that mimic string tension in flight. It’s not just lamp—it’s a sculptural echo of wind, movement, and Korean heritage.
